Kylie C: Love it, I got one of these because i was having a lot issues from running, just too hard on my joints. I got the Cardio CRuiser plus maybe a month ago and use it parctically every day, am loving the upper body strenght I never had before! Anyone know, i f I can still get a heart rate monitor for a goodprice?

AJ: The Cardio Cruiser has been a time saver for me. i was trying to do lifting for a while there in addition to my biclycing cardio but i just didnt have the time to keep it up. This is good bcs i am getting definition too, not just calorie burning. good stuff.

reese: those elliptical machines at the gym, with the arm resistance, those were always taken every time i went, i had to use the older ones and realy got on my nerves. don’t have time to wait for the better ones. i don’t think they even work a s goodas the cardio cruiser anyway, and also, my butt looks tighter since getting this. no people to deal with and in better shape, cant complain! For the quality I think the price was fair.

Shira_tictacjunkie: HOw long does one session on here last & how many times per week do you gotta use it? I think i might be Interested in cardio cruiser, just sometimes, get lazy about working out in the house. Wanna know exactly what im in for before I take the plunge.

amber: I thought i wasn’;t going to be able to coordinate my arms & legs with Cardio Cruiser but it turned out to be pretty easy. i think it helps that your sitting down and you dont have to worry about loosing your balance. Also for me its great bcs jogging was starting to really mess with my knees i almost had to have surgery and have a pin put in my knee.

Darla, KS: Yes, its pretty easy to use, you just get into a rhythm with it. I started on the easiest level, am now at Level 3, in about 5 weeks of using cardio cruiser plus. Definitely works faster than the recumbent bike, for toning.

Ellen S: CAn some one please, tell me more about this ‘fuel plan” that comes with the cardio cruiser? does it have any meals, suitable for vegetarians, and how efective is it?

Lina: My husband has always been a fan of Body by Jake we have his original book from years ago. When I saw the Cardio Cruiser I thought it looked pretty cool. We got it and so far it really does tone muscles too, which i never really did too much. i mean i used to walk 30 minteus a day with my girlfriends which kept my weight down and all but you don’t really get “muscular” from walking, y’ know? I feel this is a good cardio workout and i am starting to see a lil more definition my abs calves and arms, not quite like the girl in the video…but I am working on it.

ANGUS: This provides for me, a good workout when I am at home. I do this, about 3 or 4 days per week and still do the gym on ohter days. I am trying to build muscle as well as burn fat, this seems to be a good combo for me. Also had to give up some of the higher impact workouts in recent years, glad to be using CardioCRUISER.

dylan: How much is this thing is the shipping’s free? Looking at this for my wife and me, i think she’d enjoy this too.

bob: yeah i have had some bad back problems from lifting and situps etc and so for a while all i was doing was cardio. but i didn’t like the look i was getting from that, i was losing too much muscle. The Cardio Cruiser has been an improvement i’m actually seeing some calf definiton and my biceps are definitely getting there. I thought this was gonna be an all legs sort work out, but can see an feel it in my arms as well. Its more of a whole body push/pull sorta thing which I like.

connie: my friend had one of those koolatron recumbent bikes and it was cool, i used it a few times, but after getting this and comparing / this really is a better workout for me. i m sure its because it adds the upper body workout in, which I think makes a big difference. i think she might even be getting a cardio cruiser now, since she seing how much better shape I’m getting in!!

Gotta go with what works.

CarrieM: Totally LOVE the Cardio CruiserPLUS! I used to use the standing elleiptical intil I hurt my back in a car injury a couple of months ago. I feel like this is giving me a very similar type of all over work outm but I can have my back supported while sitting. Best piece of home gym equipment I have ever gotten and I have tried a lot of them. Lets just say this one does not collect dust. – Carrie

Eric: NOt really intense enough for me. My parents have one of these, and its cool for htem I guess, I was staying with them for a few months and used it, its fine but, not gonna get me to where i wanna be. sorry, gotta say no to the cardio cruiser, not for me.

melodyinblue: i swear i could just sit on this thing all day! i use my cardio cruiser while watching what ever i please.

I like that I can do this see what i want in my own home. My town only has a ‘weights only” type gym which I do not really feel comfortable going to. Very glad I got this and to see that it has good reviews and people like it too.

Melissa: I like that Cardio Cruiser is easy on my knees. I used to cycle and had to stop after ortho surgery. This gives me the same range of motion but without the pressure. Very cool machine! I almost did not get it because was not sure would fit in our office/nowgym but it totally does. Well worth the investment.

elise: yeah, i like the “push-pull” feeling of Cardio Cruiser too…it kidna responds to your movements and provides an equal resistance, like it’s “pushing back.” it feels kind of natural and i get into a little rhytnm with it that is nice. I’m doing real weell with it so far.

ElianeF: Funny to see posts about Cardio Cruiser not being intense enough. I guess they’re all from the youngsters. I’m 42 (not THAT old) and I think its very perfect. I keep mine in the bedroom and use it first thing in the morning while the kids are getting ready for school. My husband has even tried it a couple of times.

Uncle_Abe: FOund a really good price on the cardio cruiser plus here. Can’t beat a savings of seventy-five bucks and free shipping!

Carlie: Coolio! Thanks Abe! I was just going to order one off some other site.

alexis: I like how the Cardio Cruiser is making my legs look! u know how some kinds ofexercise makes ur legs muscular but not in a “good way”? like all of a sudden u look and the mirror and your like Venus williamS? I mean she’s in great shape but i like my legs a little on the leaner side. anywya my point is, Cardio Cruiser is giving me the kind of toned-but-lean look i have been trying to get all a long.

Dara: Yes, I’ve sorta surprised myself by how often i use my Cardio Cruiser, too. I can’t always do it first thing, but after a cup of coffee, I can definitely motivate enough to get on this thing, and work up a good sweat. I ride for about 30 minutes, usually, that seems to be long enough to feel a pretty good burn.

Victory: Kinda not feelin enough cardio with Cardiocruiser. Am I not pedalling fast enough?

TanyaR: Well maybe your not pedalling fast enough Victory, but I tihink you would know if you weren’t. I do just fine with my cardio cruiser plus. I like that I can take it easy when I need to and ramp it up when I’m ready.

tiffany: I check my heart rate with the Heart Rate Monitor i bought along w/my Cardio Cruiser, and i definitely get it up in the fat burn zone every time. if i notice it starts to drop then i speed up my pace to keep it up there. i like having that montitor cuz it helps keep me on top of the workout.

Phylis: Well. I gave it a whirl. My husband likes it nd thats great, he can use it. I need to just sit on the recumbent bike and read my book, i don;t like moving my arms while using teh Cardio cruiser, and t.v just rots the brain. adn i gotta do something to pass the time on here or id never do it.

JANELLE: Boring? I dont see how you could get bored on the Cardio cruiser unless youre just hanging out in “cruise mode” the whole time. I focus on the push/pull motion and like someone else said, sorta get into the rhythm. but i often, try to increase speed or resistance to make the workouts more challengin, it is anything but boring.

Pamela: Agreed! Not boring at allm and hey guess what? I’m not 50! CardioCruiserPlus Rocks!

Kaela: Totally sound like an infomercial here, but I have lost 12 punds since I started using my Cardio Cruiser. I am also doing some other stuff like trying to eat better, but this machine is working for me. I may even have the guts to set foor in a gym soon.

Millie, TX: well i will admit i don’t use this much during the summer months, i try to get out doors as much as possible and stay active with swimming, walking, or bicycling. but when its cold or rainy, i live on this thing! sometimes even us my cardio Cruiser twice per day. I too have always been a fan of Body by jake products.

Hannah: I like the arm thingies on cardio cruiser. It is like a cross country machine except your sitting and cycling. Well, maybe it’s not like that at all. What I mean is I feel like I’m getting that kind of workout when I use it. yay!

Nate: I like it! Didn’t think I would, but cardioCruiser is pretty good for an in home thingy.

Angie: No, your right Hannah. The Cardio Cruiser, is sorta like the best of everything you find at the gym. But better, bcs don’t HAVE to go to the gym, and you know, it does everyhing in one workout, pretty much. i try to use it 3-4 days a week and been sticking to it regulrly now for 6 weeks.

breeptrs: Sounds great! And not as expensive as a lot of other home equipment.

jasperthecatman: oh, i’ve had it for near 3 mos now, it wasn’t overnight. but steady progress, i guess is the key. and using it while doing something i always did, sit in front of the tube, makes getting on the thing a no-brainer. difference is, was burning zero calories before, plus actually probably gaining, stuffing my face, etc. cardio cruiser plus changed all that, bad habits & what not. i can say, stickwith it, you get there, good luck. Get it try it do anything to stay healthy is my new motto thank you all.

JollyK: Well I like having this because, i also prefer to workout at home, and what id do is, i use my Cardio cruiser PLUS 3 days per week,a nd i still run 3-4 days a week. Using this, gives me an upper body workout and also, i notice that my muscles look, leaner, not so thick like they get just form running. its a good balance, been doin this now for like 9 or 10 weeks and see nice changes in my body shape.

verona: it’s great for an “at home” thing, my goodness, i had a super old exercise bike, from the 70s I swear, barely gave me any resistance. it was time to trad e that thing in and trade up. lost about an inch in the first two weeks with cardio Cruiser, I pretty sure. fun, too!

robin: Had this machine sitting in the basement for four or five years but had never gotten serious about using it. Last October I began struggling with an old back injury that was so painful at times I could hardly walk. Began traction with a chiropractor but only had minimal relief. About a month ago I was in the basement and saw the machine sitting there. As I looked at it it occured to me that this might be exactly what I was looking for. After several times of using it I could tell that the pain was changing. It wasn’t gone but better. I had been trying to do Pilates and yoga thinking that they would strengthen with minimal impact. Neither of those yielded the results of core strength I have gotten using this machine. One big problem is that the cable has become so noisy I can’t hear the tv without turning the volume up very loud. I think my neighbors are scared! I have read reviews at other sites saying that people have actually had the cable snap. I hope mine holds up because I really am excited about how much better my pain level is.

Denny: A very very good low impact workout that is easy on my knees, ankles and back. And its cool bcs, when i get done with a cardio cruiser plus workout i really feel lke i got a good workout, my heart gets going, blood gets pumping, etc. The noise, can get a little loud, I use headphones when I’m on it now. Usually just zone out to a podcast and stare at the yard. That seems to work for me. Had mine about 7 or 8 mos, using it regularly with no real problems.

cactusjenny: can any one tell me the size of the seat of the cardo cruiser plus?

Tonya: This thing is working out for me like nothing else. I’m a big woman – 5'11” and weighing just under 300lbs. So most exercise, is out of the question as it hurts my joints or gets me out of breath. I’ve had to work my way into going longer on hte cardio cruiser but am gaiinging stamina and seeing some inch loss already.
