Shadowboxer

sara: I’m on the middleweight resistance level now & i’m finding the Shadowboxer workouts to be a lot of fun. The 3 min. burn rounds are super intense and energetic & plus i can pretend i’m punching my boyfriend lol! my clothes are def. getting looser too.

JUNE: YES, me too I love the burn rounds! That’s funny, I don’t think about my boyfriend, more like my jerk boss. I call Shadow Boxer, ‘healthy tension release’ :)

Angela: LOL when i go for a massage my massage therapist tells me to “name my knots” after the ppl who caused them. I have my boss, my mother in law, even my husband sometimes. i do the same thing with my Shadow Boxer workouts. depending on who annoyed me i pretend that is who i am punchinmg. some days, i just have fun w/ the workout and don’t think about punching anyone! :)

Stella: I googled and found this site. I had always felt so silly doing aeorobic dance classes or routines..all that bopping around with those riduculous moves. It just never felt like something i would ever do on my own. I go the Shadow BOxer becuaes of the good ratings and so far I think its nice and simple i like that theres just 7 moves and they don’t look foolish. Glad to see i’m not alone and others are feel the same things.

StaceyJoHarris: Well, I dont see the need to make this into some kind of anger management routine. I, have no coordination for dancing or anything, and these workouts, I can actually follow. I just focus on the movements and toning, when I use Shadowboxer. Im not always smiling but, definitely not angry like some of you seem to be, wiht this i mean.

hatesfiona: Ugh, can anyone possilbly do this without that annoying song in their heads? i’m sorry, i don’t know if i can get over it, everytime i think about this workout, i just keep hearing fiona apple whine about bein a shadow boxer. i might gotta stick with tae bo,i know its a bad reason, sorry.

Leslie_openhouse2: Think this is working! I started using the shadow boxer a week ago, have done 4 workouts and lost already about 1.5 lbs. Didnt realize it was gonna make me sore, anyone got any good stretches or something I shlud do? I was not working out at all beforethis.

Rosa: Looks pretty cool, I’m getting really bored with the aerobics classes I;m taking & lookng for something to do at home. Wonderin how liekly is it I will lose 10 lbs,with shadow boxer. I am about 30 lbs overweight, & 5'4?.

karen,sheboygan: awhile ago i started using the rowing machine to try & tone, and it def. works, but its tough and, i dunno, i felt i had to sit there & do a lot of reps to get anything out of it. SOrta got boring. ShaDow boxer is super fun, and tones my whole body better the idea of boxing was not something I thougth I would really like but saw the commercial and it looked cool. I am glad I got it.

MelissaAdams: I don’t know, I thought I would like this better, but I have used the Shadowboxer for 3 workouts now, and I just cant get it. I didnt think I was that uncoordinated but,I just canot get into this, sorry. I wish i liked it as much as you all! i gonna need to send it back, & try to get a refund. good luck to all of you guess not everything is for everyone. :(

misty: Hey there! I think its awesome that u are suipposed to lose 10 lbs in 10 workouts! My question is: does this really happen? How many of you have achieved that? I am psyched and ready to order.

CHRIS207: Not quite, but close, I lost around i would say 6-7 lbs in 10 workouts of Shadowboxer. Pretty happy about that, specially since I lost 6 more in the next couple of weeks (lost count of # of workouts after that) ANyway, have lost about 5 inches in the time i used this,so far, and thats even better to me. I believe its best to measure inches not actual weight. I mean I do not ever WANT TO BE A SLAVE TO THE SCALE.

TheresaThomas: Shadow Boxer was tricky to get the hang of with those resistance straps but I think I’ve got it now. So far so good and I am really gonna ty to stick with it after reading here. Theresa.

Jackie: My boyfriend and I have both been using shadow boxer and we like it, but I want to know if I can wear the belt lower on my waist like he does? Anyone tried this?

Kathleen, FLA: YOu could try it Jackie, for me, I need it up higher tho, because of the way the resistance on the cords is. a couple inches lower might be a little difficult for me to do the SHadow Boxer the right way. Why do you want it lower anywyay?

Alison C.: yeah, i think the Shadow Boxer belt is pretty much set up to be where it’s supposed ot be for the arm resistance and all. Not sure what the benefit would be of wearing it lower. For me it matches up just right to my arm span for doing the punching moves. I like this workout a lot. I used to be in to Jazzercise, and it was good for what it was worth, but that was another lifetime ago and I am liking this much better.

Bobby: I see lots of ladies posting here. Hello! Question are the arm grips comfortable? I have sorta, large, hands, wonder if they fit me if i get the SHADOW BOXER?

Alayna: I’m getting ready to make my move…hahaha just ordered the Shadow BOxer looks awesome! 10 lbs in ten days? or do you not use it every day?

TMonroe: I don’t use it everyday because Shadow Boxer makes me kind of sore.(good sore) I try to use run/walk and then use it for about an hour on the days I don’t do that. been two weeks and I’m down. Not quite as far as the advertisements claim, but pretty darn close. I SOLD :)

Scott: I was in the military and ever since I got out, my body has turned to mush. My girfreind ordered one of these and I have to say at first I laughed. Then I tried it and got one of my own. Shadow Boxer is pretty cool, i have to say.

DudeAbides: Answer to your question bobby, i’m also a guy with prety large hands and i’m not haveing any problem with the hand grips on Shadow Boxer. Good luck!

Gil: This is working great for me, I’m a bigger guy too. The arm grips are adjustable, u should have no prob using Shadow BOxer, all the info you need is right here, man on the shadow boxer website

JenniferK: Thanks Gil! I love that name, by the way. I am totally going to read up and probably get one. I think I can afford a shadow boxer, even with things as bad as they are. Who knows, maybe this may help me get rid of some stress too!

Tina: Alayna -that was a Fiona joke wasn’t it? LOL. anyway. I’m liking Shadow Boxer a lot, its straightforward and fun to do. i like the way the resistance feels, i can feel my arm muscles kinda pushing against it. pLUS its fun and nice and short.

Maxine: I really like shadow boxer too. Easy to travel with, BUT I wanted to let people know that’s it’s not really a great idea to run with it. I tried and in addition to looking ridiculous, i fell flat on my face!

callie: hahaha, what do youi mean “run with it” like go for a jog while punching? i am just tryign to picture this and i can’t stop laughing…sorry Maxine don’t mean to make u feel bad that sounds like a very ambitious idea but i dont see how it would work. Shadow Boxer is its own workout u don’t have to add running on top of it, that’s the beauty. ;)

TanyaR: Totally funny! But yeah, when using theshadowboxer, maybe it’s best to stay focused on the task at hand. It can be as tough as you make it.

Erin: Very ambitious, to run with this. BUt, you know, it IS fun to use Shadow BOXER before gong for a run. I’m alsways so super pumped up after doing this workout, I go out the door and practically sprint for 2 or 3 miles. Well, it feels like sprinting, I run hard & feel awesome.

Lonnie: We both have a shadow boxer belt – my husband and I. We can never seem to use them at the same time, but I like knowing we’re using the same thing to get fit.

RickiSanders: Shadow Boxer is pretty darn cool. I like the videos that came too. Some stuff on there that I would never have thought of. I first saw it on an infomercial then started reading reviews for it. Very very glad I got it.

Marlena: OKAy, so someone say its portable and that’s what I need, I travle alot and want to have consistent workouts. But my question is, is this used however you want, or do you gotta follow the videos to workout with Shadow Boxer? I don;t know if all my hotels have dvd players..?

Trilby: Nah, you don’t need the DVDs if you’re already comfortable throwing punches. I would watch them first, just so you have ideas. Alot of it is just keep it from getting boring. ShadowBoxer is pretty fun!

Trav: Once you get the moves down & stuff, you dont need to use the videos all the time, at least i don’t. But if you have a laptop, just play it from there if your traveling & need to still figure out how to do the Shadow BOXer workotus.

Staceisacase: You know what would be awesome? If they made a combo shadow boxer and electronic belt thing. Then I could work on my arms AND my stomach!

Letty: MY children make fun of me for using this but, I don’t care! They think its funny to see their mum punching the air but i tell ya what. They not talking back to me so much lately, and run faster when they think theyre gonna get in trouble. I’d never hurt them but, i think they started to fear me some. This product for me really works and I never used to really work out before. I think the secret is to find anything but always be moving.

Daniella: Seriously, Shadow Boxer is the first product I eve dared purchase like this. We had some free weigths at home but I did them. Totally surprised with the quality and even more suprised that my arms are de-flabbing! Ahhhh yeah…

Hilda: Maybe, but have you been using this “stace..” ? I sure as heck don’t need anything anything else for my abs, tehy get a prety good workout with the shadow oxer, and lost a couple inches – more trim – from my waist already, its only been 4 weeks.

ELROY: DEfinitely a good arm workout, am feeling stronger since doing Shadow BOXER workouts. But its toneig my whole entire body too, I see more definition in my back, my thighs and my butt with this workouts. Covers just aobut everything.

THAYDE: Yeah, I totally feel a little ab stuff when I use my Shadow Boxer. In fact if you use the DVDs, you can get a pretty decent full body workout!

MMM: Can you replace the resistance bands on the Shdow Boxer?

Kal: I’m not sure about the band thing. I have had mine for 3 months and haven’t had to do a thing. Probably use shadowBoxer about 4 times a week, seems pretty sturdy to me! :) Anyone else feel it in their abs too?

Pamela: Bought, Love it, use it everday! Love my shadowboxer! Clearly, I am not alone in this opinion!

LyleLoren: A lot more fun and efficient,for me, than doing those perfect pushup things. I tried that & I sure it works but, I rather get a cardio workout while getting more definition. MY shoulders and chest are getting a great workout with Shadow Boxer, very glad i got it.

edna: feel pretty strong, and am thinking i have some self defense skills from this even. but i do love how my otherwise flabby upper arms are getting some definition. I only just got this last month. having loads of fun with the shadowboxer. I do notice an awareness in my abs. Anyone else find a better way to tone here as well? I am starting the south beach diet online to go along with this as my supersize days are over. :)

Calista: This has really gotten me back in to shape prety quickly, like others say. I sorta took a few years “off” from working out, like only would walk or bike ride…and definitely nEVEr did anything that uses the motions in hte Shadow BOxer before. I feel like my body is getting sorta, stretched or someting, in a whole new way. I’d say this is good for beginners espe,or people like me trying to get back in shape.

st. P: once i created enough space in my living room to start shadow boxing, its been real easy to use this pretty regularly. love using shadow boxer after along day, seems like a healthier solution than hitting the bottle, like my coworkers tend to do. feels much better too, i have more energy lately, on top of better muscle tone.

yakcamissy: I ordered the shadowboxer about a month ago, and I have used it several times, but i haven’t been really folowing up on a good diet. I am 18 years old, my height is 5' and i weight 175lbs. even though I already have the product I am still pretty skeptical, can anyone give me some tips of when to use it, what time of the day or something similar.

katie: Shadow Boxer is working out for me, i like how easy the steps are and its fun to do the boxing thing. The Burn Rounds are super fast & i can fit them into my schedule easily. sometimes i do a few burn rounds in the am and then a few in the evening, they are only 3 minutes apiece and while they are pretty intense they are also fun to do. i am also doing a balanced diet, being careful to avoid too much snacking between meals. but as far as cardio and toning the Shadow Boxer is the only thing i am doing and it;s working out. i can see the diff. and according to the scale i have lost 7 lbs.

Thomas: I’m skeptal of any product that they sell. Most people that use this is already in shape, they get paid to show that it works. I don’t see my toes and other things. I’m getting ready to order it for the thirty day trial. I don’t have too much time to go to the gym. Everybody is so positive about this. Bring it on!!!!!!

Kristin: Could anyone help me decide? I am an advanced exerciser, but at 43 nothing is getting off 10 happy pounds I put on last year! Will this challenge me? I have a weight bag and would like to use it and punch my bag! I can’t find any dvd’s that have a punching bag workout! I really kept my weight down when I was kickboxing on bag, but they went out of business! Can this work?

Boolie: I have about a 100 lbs to lose and my waist size is about 52?. Will the belt fit me?

JAnelle: Its super motivating t o use this & I sweat up a storm. So far I think i’ve lost 2 inches from my waist, and its really the only thing i added to my routine.

Erika: I LOVE THIS SYSTEM! I really enjoy work out systems I can do in my livingroom bc I am always pressed for time. The burn rounds are fun and it motivates you to push through. My arms are seriously showing some TONE and my tunny is shaping up. When I have time I will do the extreme dvd then the free 10 min ab workout I downloaded with the card I got when I ordered the system online. The ONLY thing that bothers me is that I am DRIPPING SWEAT and the idiots on the video are DRY and smiling like they are high school dancers in a competition. LOL BUT that just makes me punch harder….kinda like I’m punching them in the face! All in all its been GREAT!

Carly: Shadow Boxer is fun, effective, and super easy to use. Who doesn’t have 20 minutes to throw a few punches and work up a sweat? I’m working on some tummy flab and “bat wings.” After just a few workouts, I can already see changes in these areas as well as in my back and thighs. Highly recommend this system!

Janet Firth: FOr me, its been a very worthwhile purchase. I do find it to be a goodway to work up a sweat AND an excellent stress reliever. I just, started getting in the habit of doing the Shadow boxer first thing when i get home from work, before dinner, and I tell ya, I sleep like a baby getting all that aggression worked out rihgt away.
